U2 CMA™

PTG fixed-bearing cruciate-retaining

The U2 Knee™ System, designed by the UNITED ORTHOPEDIC, is a complete range of 1st line treatment PTGs: Fixed and mobile CR, fixed and mobile PS and PSA revision with constrained insert.

The fixed tibial baseplate is commonly used in fixed cruciate-retaining (U2 CMA™) and posterior stabilised (U2 PS™) fixed inserts.

The mobile tibial baseplate is commonly used in cruciate-retaining (U2 MBC™) and posterior stabilised (U2 MB™) mobile inserts

Description

The PTG U2 CMA™ is a fixed-bearing cruciate-retaining femoral prosthesis that provides the option of adding a short pin and tibial wedges.

The cruciate-retaining femur has a multi-radius design with a “patella friendly” trochlear groove that promotes flexion and stability.

The CMA tibial baseplate offers the intraoperative choice of a cruciate-retaining or ultra-congruent insert.
